Jinmao's CAP Assassin

The primary stat for assassin is DEX. Assassin benefits the most from DEX. Secondary stat for CAP assassin is STR and for elemental assassin is WIS. However, I would only discuss CAP assassin as I had only play this type.
Add 6 DEX and 4 STR per level. You would have very good SR and DR and able to hit and dodge well.
After level 35, change to 5 DEX 5 STR or 4 DEX 6 STR if you are heavy user of explosion trap.
Once a while increase your other stats such that you should have around 300 hp at level 10-12. Increase WIS only if you are draining MP too fast.

Skills Tips'n'Hints

"NEVER use Chain arrows as a BASIC attack. even if your wisdom is 100+, the mana drain is too much for you to handle." -ladyrikku

"My Explosion trap is lvl 1, I don't see any point to level it up to lvl 2 or more because the damage is based on your Common AP. Adding it to lvl 2 only increase the damage , but I don't think it's a lot." -ladyrikku

"Bamboo Trap 2, is a very powerful 1 vs 1 spell (single target) with a powerful wood based weapon, you can take down boars in Huiqin 1 trap and large boars in 2." -ladyrikku

"Other good skills is THUNDER attack, a lvl 3 skill. It increases your 5-Elements AP by 80% at lvl 1 and can slice through a row of enemy. ( It only increase 5-Elements AP, NOT your Common AP.)" -ladyrikku

"Get Level 1 Chain arrows and beef up your SR for maximum damage as 3 shots doesn't mean all 3 will hit. If it does, that's an additional 200% CAP and 200% Elemental AP at only level 1. But don't put other points in it since the mana consumption is very high." -sousuke

"Do not put more than 1 point into any lvl 1 skill (except Crafting). Definitely put one point into Invisibility, the most useful skill for an assassin. The only lvl 2 skills worth maxing are "God-Bless-You" and "Explosion Trap". I also suggest getting lvl 1 Chain arrows and Blizzard Arrows. As for lvl 3 skills, definitely get Meteor Arrow 2, but only put one point into it. Max Fury Arrow when u reach lvl 40. Chain Arrows VS Blizzard Arrows -jinmao & sousuke
1.Chain Arrows shoots 3 on same monster, Blizzard can shoot much more.
2.Both skills improve the damage by the same rate at same skill level.
3.Blizzard can be used for crowd control by attacking all. Chain cannot. It's also useful when clearing low level monster fast.
4.In comparison of damage, Chain arrows shoot faster and deals more damage if towards single target.
5.Lvl 9 blizzard arrows cost only 9 mana while lvl 1 chain arrows cost 12 mana.

Stats Tips'n'Hints

"Depends on what you want to go with, a elemental assassin or a common attack assassin. If you want elemental, put 2 or 3 points in wisdom, if you want common, put them in STR. put at least 5 points to DEX every level, use the rest of your point in whatever stats you want. Since DEX is important, focus on making DEX items when you craft." -ferri

"For CAP Assassin, go 5 DEX 5 STR or 6 DEX 4 STR. Once a while put some points into CON and WIS if there is some good equipment you need higher stats to use them." -jinmao

Equipment Tips'n'Hints

"Bow = faster firing rate, less damage. Crossbow = slower firing rate, high damage. I personally prefer bow. But it's whatever you like. The advantage of crossbow over bow is you can put more materials into a crossbow." -ferri

"Another thing to consider is your mana draining skills - even using meteor arrow you'll drain your mana pretty quick with a fast bow, making the Xbow more worthwhile for long stints in the jungle." -vagrant_imp
