So, they will ask you if you can help them identify the beard, leather or feather and will pay for the cost of identifying. And if you did help them to identify the rare RMs, you will NO longer be able to ID your own. Don't be surprise those high level noobs kept like 5 beards thinking they can identify all 5." -soukuke
"The classic "swap a dope" scamming tactic, show you one thing and at the last min change the item in the trade screen. Checking again before clicking on the final button to finalize the trade will be useful." -zingma
"The problem is that the one who is paying to buy something will usually put in the gold amount he see the item put up by the other side is correct, then he will click on the tick button, however all this while the scammer will not click on any button, once he see that he other party has click on his button, he will then now change the item in the trade screen in a fast manner and the other party may not notice it if he is not careful and did not do a double check. Thus after he has now changed the item, he will only then click on his side of the tick button and click on the final button in the middle portion to finalize the deal as quickly as possible." -zingma
"This guy saw a player advertising a Savvy +54 helmet. He was interested and asked for the price, was quoted 200k, he then bargained it to 120k. Now for the transaction, he passed over the 120k and the transaction was done. Ok Now for the fun part, can anyone guess how he was scammed because when he received the hat and checked it, it was really a Savvy +54 helmet and not something else...the Helmet named +54 Savvy. Gambling on Hermits
"I have spent 200k on hermit and I only got 3 lvl3 skills, only 1 is useful and I found out that once you got that skill. The hermit kinda give back the same skill to you for some reason like the 2 skills I got from the 100k I spent appeared around 4 times each when I was there. I found out that some books from hermit is only 144k, so if you think you don't want to waste your money on gambling. Maybe buy the actually book from hermit or players, because the better the skill and level is, the lesser chance you would get it from hermit." -chopchop
